OPERATIONS MANUAL
1. Secure wristband tightly. High-G impacts imminent.
2. Do not expose Apple Watch to direct tachyon radiation or warp cores.
3. Take frequent breaks. Combat fatigue leads to sloppy flying.
4. No actual extra-terrestrials were harmed in the making of this game, at least not yet. We are working on it though!
YEAR 2142.
Long-range scanners in Sector 7-G, also known as The Glimmer Belt, have detected anomalous tachyon signatures. This isn't a natural phenomenon — it’s a gestation.
Recent reconnaissance confirms the Crystalline Vanguard isn't just a fleet of ships; they are biomechanical entities unfolding directly from the quartz geodes within the belt. These "antibodies" protect a massive crystalline Heart that is manufacturing a swarm to shatter our outer defenses.
The swarm exhibits hive-mind synchronization with no detectable comm traffic. They don't just occupy space; they "phase" through it, shedding crystal layers to sidestep our reality.
As part of Squadron Prism, your objective is to punch through the defensive waves and neutralize the Heart.
SLIDE SCREEN: Horizontal movement. (thumb)
DIGITAL CROWN: Vertical control. (index finger)
DOUBLE-SWIPE LEFT/RIGHT: Barrel Roll left or right.
DOUBLE-SWIPE UP/DOWN: Full loops and barrel spins (Breaks enemy lock-on).
Tap Nuke Icon to wipe screen. Use for massive points OR save as a panic button when shields drop to buy regen time.
Mastering movement is key to survival. Risk is rewarded. The closer you are to enemy projectiles, ships, or asteroids when you pull an evasive maneuver, the higher the reward!
Scrape past enemy hulls to trigger a SPEED BOOST. Your FOV expands, and your score multiplier increases.
Thread the needle for a Perfect Dodge. This immediately REGENERATES HULL HEALTH and extends your boost timer while providing maximum speed and maneuverability.
The Mark-VII is the pinnacle of Earth's defensive fleet. Its chassis is built from ultra-light, ablative ceramic composite designed to shed plasmic buildup.
The experimental Tachyon Shielding is its lifeline — a rechargeable energy bubble that absorbs catastrophic impacts. Once breached, the hull structure is vulnerable to permanent damage.
Utilizes a gravimetric field to negate g-forces allowing instant turns. The "Near-Miss" system syphons energy from enemy shields and weapons propulsion to overclock the magnetic confinement field for a temporary **Hyper-Boost**.
Standard issue **Twin-Linked** ordnance. These capacitor-fed cannons discharge superheated gas at **10 rounds/sec**. The sheer volume of fire is designed to overwhelm regeneration cycles.
Former orbital defense commander. Everlee takes the weight of every mission personally. Her callsign 'Aegis' reflects her defensive flying style and unwavering protective nature over her squad. She is the shield that guards humanity.
Fresh out of the academy. Top of his class in simulations but unproven in real combat. He is eager, by-the-book, and desperate to prove he belongs among legends. His aggression sometimes masks his insecurity.
The mind behind the Mark-VII's weapon systems. Analytical and brilliant, she is often more interested in the Swarm's technology than fighting them. She sees the battlefield as a complex equation waiting to be solved.
Intuitive and philosophical, Gio claims to "feel" the Swarm's movements before they happen. His unorthodox methods and enigmatic nature make command nervous, but his predictions are rarely wrong.
A survivor of the first Swarm war. Aggressive and battle-hardened, Blaze believes the only good bug is a vaporized bug. He flies on pure instinct and is always the tip of the spear.
Tracks pilot, fires 3-round bursts. Non-homing. Predictable evasive maneuvers.
Bobs erratically. Fires triple spirals. Dodging incorrectly leads into trailing rounds.
Fires fast homing mines that loop back. Can be dodged multiple times for extra boost. High threat.
Deep space telemetry indicates massive, heavily armored signatures approaching Sector 7-G. Profiles unknown. Exercise extreme caution.
Squadron Prism will deploy LOOT CRATES resupply crates during combat.
These are homing crates that track your position, ensuring you don't miss the drop.
DROP SCHEDULE:
• First drop at 500 Points.
• Every 2,000 Points thereafter.
